You can pick form three catogories.
Warriors, Lost Treasure, Other...
The prize is a banner. Sorry I don't have and codes for anything yet. But I promise the banner will be looking awesome.
I'll be looking for lots of description.
Thanks the contest ends on April 1.

As in description, do mean that I would describe a beach, a warrior cat, etc., and is it alright if I do 2? Well, here I go.
ReplyDeleteCapturing Bluestar
***
A glimpse of glossy blue-gray fur. A flash of sparkling blue eyes. A swish of a tail. Suddenly, a cat shoots out of the bushes, running, the muscles rippling under the soft pelt, the pads drumming onto the earth a fast rhythm. The she-cat is long, lean, and majestic. A mighty, formiddable force that I would not want to cross any day. She makes her kill, dargging it into the great, leafy forest that makes this cat look so small. We follow her into a clearing with many cats; she deposits her kill on a pile, leaps up onto a high rock, and yowls. Instantly, the cats go quiet. The leader stands up. Time seemes to freeze. The majestic, powerful aura. The glimmering blue-gray pelt. The deep, knowing blue eyes. It all comes together in the breath, this moment. Bluestar.
Sure thing it's great! You might just win.
ReplyDelete1) No one else might not enter lolz
2) It's awesome
What I mean by description is a clear picture of what's going on. Like:
Similies: Similes use the words “as” or “like” to make the connection between the two things that are being compared. EX:
Feathertail's blue eyes, glimmered "like" stars in the moonlight.
Metaphors: To make a connection between to things "with out" using like or as. EX:
Bluestar's eyes were searchlights.
Get it?
But you can use other descriptive terms too just make me "see" it.
Ah, yes. I get it.
ReplyDeleteCatogorie~Other/Harriet Tubman
ReplyDeleteI could feel a drop of sweat run down my neck as I got ready to make my escape from slavery. "Ms. Tubman it's time!", whispered my trustworthy conductory behind me. I would have only wished to say good bye to my family but it's too big of a risk. I could feel my heart pounding as I answered him, "I'm ready" His words still stung in my head to this very day, "We need to write our wills, in case this mission ends in... disaster." After that all I remember was looking behind me to see if my family were all there looking and waving their last goodbyes to their little Harriet.
I know there is already a winner but I just wanted to share my piece, prize or not.

A new cat

He goes to me
He tries to save me
He gets the stake
Hawkfrost attacks
